Synopsis

During a burglary gone wrong, Luigi and Martial, two small-time crooks, break into the isolated home of Guillemette Dorleans, a former nurse living in seclusion after a family tragedy.

When they wake up imprisoned in a strange pink room, they discover that their jailer is pursuing a terrifying project: finding the man who will replace her missing husband and give her the children she still dreams of.

Forced to compete for her affection, the two captives enter a cruel game in which every gesture, every lie and every betrayal can make the difference.

Because Guillemette has set the rules: the loser will die. The survivor will become her companion... for the rest of his life.

With La Chambre Rose, I want to reconnect with popular, intense and unapologetic genre cinema, where suspense, dark humor and emotion coexist at every moment.

Under the guise of a horrific chamber piece, the film questions our need for love, belonging and recognition.

Guillemette embodies a deeply human tragedy: that of a woman trying to rebuild a vanished family by turning love into captivity.

Through this cruel and absurd tale, I want to offer an experience as disturbing as it is entertaining, where tension is born as much from violence as from the toxic emotional bonds uniting the characters.
